Your Options

What type of services could I have?

Depending on your location within our three service areas, qualifying diagnosis, and Medicaid type, you can qualify for a variety of natural, community, state, and waiverable resources. Supports are explored in order — natural and community first, then state plan, with waiver funding as a last resort.

1 Start Here

Natural & Community Supports

Any and all supports that exist naturally in your life. Before requesting any paid services, all natural and community support must be explored.

Examples: family & friends, schools, religious organizations, and clubs.
2 Next

State Plan Services

Supports provided and funded through Medicaid and the State of Missouri. All state plan services must be explored prior to requesting any waiver-funded services.

Examples: DHSS, HCBS, NEMT, Bureau of Special Health Care Needs, WIC & Nutrition Services.
3 If Needed

Waiver & Other Funded Supports

Paid for with State, Federal, and sometimes SB40 tax dollars. These services are limited and have stricter requirements and regulations.
