What is the primary role of the Consumer & Support Team working with LinkAbility?

Due to limited funding for supportive services, Service Coordinators must explore all natural, community, and local resources before requesting funded support. Additionally, specific assessments may be required prior to requesting or renewing services, and your Service Coordinator will work with you to schedule these necessary evaluations to ensure your needs are met.

Here are the numbered points in English:

  1. Requesting services is a process that involves exploring a variety of different sources of support.

  2. All service requests take at least 6-8 weeks to complete, though some requests can take longer depending on their type and complexity.

  3. LinkAbility does not approve or deny service requests; all decisions are made by the Springfield Regional Office or the responsible funding agency, based on the priority of need and proper justification.
